Satellite, WiFi and Cellular Wireless Communications: Strengths, Weaknesses and Future Growth

October 11 @ 16:00 - 17:30

FREE

The Internet is growing exponentially, and people want to be connected wherever they are: inside or outside, moving or standing still, on the ground, in an airplane or on a ship. The three primary technologies for delivering Internet content wirelessly are Satellite communications, Wi-Fi Communications and Cellular Communications. Each technology has a significant piece of the connectivity pie. What are the differences? Why is one technology more applicable than another for an application? What is the future for each technology? The panelists will explain the technologies, the current trends and growth paths into the future. Audience participation and questions are encouraged.
