As November ushers in the beauty of falling leaves and the beginning of the holiday season, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has volunteered to serve the Long Island Section. We have some exciting events lined up for the month. Kicking off November is the Power Electronics Symposium, which, by the time you read this, will have been a tremendous success. Additionally, we have two notable conferences scheduled for November:
- Women In Engineering Forum USA East November 7-9
This conference will take place in Stamford, CT. As the Vice Chair of the IEEE WIE Forum USA East this year, I am thrilled to focus on cultivating and enhancing leadership skills for individuals at all career stages. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain inspiration and empowerment from renowned leaders through a series of inspirational talks. - 18th Annual IEEE LI Systems, Applications, & Technology Conference (LISAT) November 15 LISAT will be held for the first time at Zebra Technologies. The program will feature a diverse array of topics, including cybersecurity, forensics, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, neural networks, network defense, computer vision, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, antennas, and software engineering.
