The fifth annual Long Island Power Electronics Symposium & Exhibits was held on 2023 November 2 from noon to 8 PM at the Hauppauge Radisson located at 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge LI. All area professionals involved in all sectors of power electronics were invited.
At the event, 60 companies showcased their products and services in a 49-table exhibit hall packed with attendees, while two technical lecture tracks took place in separate chambers. After a complimentary networking lunch, the lectures were kicked off with the keynote address “Impact of Transition to Offshore Wind and Renewable Energy on the Power and Electronic Industry” by Marjaneh Issapour of Farmingdale State College. All eight technical lectures were approved for CEU/PDH credit.
The official attendance count at the Symposium was 493, including lecturers, exhibitors and general attendees.

David Abrams, Napco
Great event. We received great traffic and high quality leads.
Todd Oelerich, Quantic Electronics
It was well organized and it flowed smoothly. I attended 3 of the sessions and each of the presenters were interesting, relevant and presented well. Each of the exhibitors had interesting material to display and they all seemed to interact real well.
Bert Parachini, Foster Wager

Victor Marten, Sensata
Attendance was great.
Gil Lipper, Advanced Technical Marketing
Excellent event for both vendors and participants. This is organized very well and the attendance each year shows that. Please keep up all the great work to make this event such a success each year!
Jim Barsaloux, Northern Technical Sales
I was impressed by the quality of the vendors and the wide time range that made it easy to attend.
Terry Reilly, TR Consulting
Fantastic job!
Rich Whitehouse, Keysight
I thought the show was laid out nicely. I was pleased to see the amount of vendors that participated, as well as the amount of attendees. It is clear that the show was well promoted.
Don Onorato, RFMW
I find it useful in several ways. First, I learned stuff in the technical sessions that may stimulate work to be done here. I found the sessions that I attended to be interesting and the correct depth for me. Second, I am able to make connections with the organizations and people that are showing their wares. Even though it is set up for a Long Island crowd, we find it useful to drive down from CT to attend.
Alan Steines, Cummins Valvetrain Technologies
The Symposium was nice. Always a bit crowded in the show room.
David Basile, Elektro Automatik
I have been in the Electronics Manufacturers' Representative business for 20 years and I have to say that by far, the IEEE LI Power Electronics Symposium was the best tabletop trade show I have ever exhibited at! The venue was very good and convenient to all major highways. The attendees were all people that are actually working with hardware and software and they were engaging with us at our booth at the right level.
Vic Micklasavage, GL Williams Associates
The show was well attended and interactions with visitors to our table and with fellow exhibitors were very good and worthwhile.
Mike Faith, Rohde & Schwarz
Excellent show! Packed, which was great to see ...
Jim Riter, Stellant Systems

Eric Oseassen, Rohde and Schwarz
I thought the show was a great success. The turnout was very good and the all the exhibitors were very well organized. The only improvement may be a larger venue.
william Cavallo, Aurora Group

Overall it was a great event to attend and I would like to attend next year as well. One feedback regarding the expo area. It was a little bit crammed (which shows the level of interest from PE engineers)!
Emre Gurpinar, Sikorsky Aircraft
Great job!
Bill Pawlowski, Telephonics/TTM
I think it was run very professionally and I wanted to let you know others thought so too.
Chris Swartz, Vicor
