The third annual Long Island Power Electronics Symposium & Exhibits was held on 2019 November 7 from noon to 8 PM at the Hauppauge Radisson located at 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge LI. All area professionals involved in all sectors of power electronics were invited.
At the event, 52 companies showcased their products and services in a 49-table exhibit hall packed with attendees, while two technical lecture tracks took place in separate chambers. After a complimentary networking lunch, the lectures were kicked off with the keynote address “Trends in Power Electronics 1970 to 2019” by Josh Hauser, where he chronicled the changes that occurred in the merchant power supply business over the past fifty years which included an overview of the changes in technology, regulation and the market.
The official attendance count at the Symposium was 475, including lecturers, exhibitors and general attendees.
