Blockchain and Bitcoin Mining

Abstract- Blockchain technology has become a darling of tech news for some time now. What is it and why is it such a hot topic? This presentation will demonstrate how blockchains are a type of immutable ledger and how they serve as the foundation for cryptocurrencies. It will include the construction of a simple blockchain as an example of the algorithm and an explanation of how Bitcoin uses the blockchain to record transactions and mint new coins.
